The Sarajevo 2014 Programme

Proposals are  being accepted for Sarajevo 2014 Programme under EuropeAid. The goal of this program is to contribute to reconciliation in the Western Balkans. This programme is designed to help completing the process of reconciliation in the Western Balkans: “Culture and history play a very important role in the reconciliation and confidence building process in the Western Balkans and as such were part of the cooperation strategy in the Stabilisation and Association process between the Western Balkans and the European Union.”

Objectives-

To contribute to making 2014 a year conveying European values of reconciliation, diversity and the commitment to face challenges together in BiH, in the context of the commemoration of World War I which several Member States will honour in the EU.”

The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 1.000.000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 9 months nor exceed 18 months.

Eligibility & Criteria-

    be legal persons
    be non-profit making civil society organisations and/or cultural actors (including municipalities)
    be established in  a Member State of the European Union or candidate countries or potential candidate countries of the Western Balkans (The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo under UNSCR 1244)
    be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
