The Master of Bioethics Scholarships major objective is to train highly qualified students for research work or professional activities in the interdisciplinary field of bioethics.
It offers a common European education on ethical issues in health care.
Both the European integration and the exchange of experiences from different national realities are fostered.
In addition, debate and exchange of ideas and experiences among the participants and staff from various countries is encouraged and students educated in the competencies needed to conduct research in bioethics independently.
The students should be prepared to participate in clinical ethics committees or in research ethics committees.
Admission criteria:
Only holders of a master degree (possible degrees are medicine, biology, nursing sciences, political sciences, theology, philosophy, psychology, sociology, economics…) will be accepted to the programme.
Applicants should have had some background, education, experience or involvement in the field of health care or bioethics.
Results in academic training, professional activities, publications will be taken into consideration in the assessment of the applicant.
