Nomination are invited from academic institution, private or public organization or governmental unit for World Food Prize. Nominee must be an individual whose achievement at any point along the full range of the food production and distribution chain.

Economics and Finance
Policy Analysis
Public Advocacy
Eligibility Criteria –
Any academic or research institution, private or public organization, corporate entity, or governmental unit may submit a nomination.
Individuals may generate nominations, but the nomination must be endorsed by, and submitted through, an academic institution, private or public organization, or governmental unit.
Nominee must be an individual whose achievement at any point along the full range of the food production and distribution chain.
Required details/documents – Full contact detail of nominating organization; detailed information and contact address of nominee; biographical information of the nominee; photo of nominee; synopsis of the nominee’s achievement; statement of achievement of the nominee, statement of impact made by the nominee; seconding nominations from at least two individuals who are familiar with the nominee’s work, but who are not directly associated with the nominating organization; and supporting documents that can be used to prepare press material if the nominee becomes prize winner.
Each nomination is eligible for three consecutive years.
