Swiss Re Foundation’s Resource Award for Sustainable Watershed Management

Swiss Re Foundation is inviting NGOs, private, scientific or public institutions and similar bodies to apply for grant award on Sustainable Watershed Management. Projects and initiatives which contribute to raising awareness of the ecological, social and economic significance of water sources and watersheds in developing and emerging countries are highly encouraged to apply for the grant award.
Total grant amount is $150,000 either awarded to only one or more than one projects.
Eligibility Criteria –
    Applicants can be NGOs, private, scientific or public institutions and similar bodies from around the world.
    Projects involving more than one institution (e.g. public-private partnerships) are also eligible for the award.
    Bodies with strong links to the local communities of regions where water sources are located are highly encouraged.
    One applicant can submit only one project per year.
    Applicants must submit a proven track record in sustainability and project planning and/or management in the specific field of water and source management to qualify.
