1440 Challenge award to develop innovative ideas

The 1440 Challenge is an awards program whose major objective is to develop the innovative ideas which help people learn, improve and share the life skills of self-awareness, authenticity, trust, and empathy. This challenge award offers $75,000 to the winners.

These relationship skills help people connect at deeper levels with themselves, each other as well as their communities. By leveraging communication technology and social media, winning entries will accelerate the development of these skills in the areas of education, wellness or the workplace.

1440 Foundation named for its emphasis on improving how we spend the minutes of each day, believes that now is the time to develop relationship skills and connect to ourselves, each other and to our communities. The 1440 Challenge seeks to find, reward and nurture the best ideas which inspire people to focus on relationships and become champions of compassion. Ideas can be curricula, tools, apps, or other solutions that mobilize understanding, development, and the use of these critical life skills.

There will be around three prizes of $25,000 to be awarded. In addition to the prize money, winning individuals may have the opportunity to receive ongoing support and mentoring from a team of professional advisers separate and apart from the 1440 Foundation.
