The Fund for American Studies calling Journalists for ‘Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship’ 2014

The fund for American Studies is inviting working journalists with less than 10 years of professional experience in print or online journalism who are the citizens of USA for the Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship program 2014. The fellowship proposals should focus on journalism supportive of American culture and a free society.

Robert Novak Fellowship program is an opportunity for the journalists to focus on a writing project on the topic of their own choice for the period of one-year. Fellowship program will offer full time $50,000 fellowships and part-time $25,000 fellowships to the recipients.

Eligibility Criteria –

    Applicants must be working journalist with less than 10 years of professional experience in print or online journalism.
    Applicants must be the citizens of USA.
    Applicants must commit to produce original and publishable work under the project.

Complete application includes – completed application form, fellowship proposal, samples of work, curriculum vitae, budget statement, and three letters of references. The application materials must be mailed and postmarked before deadline. Letters of recommendation must be sent by the references themselves and can be sent via email.
